Final Reopening Date for The Second Semester of The 2019/2020 Academic Year

The attention of the Registrar has been drawn to a circulation of an academic calendar purported to be the revised calendar which however, is in contravention with the revised academic calendar approved by the Academic Board at the last emergency meeting.

The Academic Board has not convented to vary their earlier adoption of the revised academic calendar.  I have therefore, been directed by the Registrar to inform the University Community to disregard any date of reopening of the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year which contradicts the approved date of Friday, 28th February 2020.

The University should therefore, take note of the reopening date of Friday 28th February, 2020 and be guided accordingly.
